Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PlanTheFun ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PlanTheFun is a web-based event itinerary and planning tool that allows users to create, manage, and share event schedules with guests. Features include day-by-day activity planning, cover photo uploads, shareable guest pages, and integrated payment processing.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
4. Subscription and Payments
PlanTheFun operates on a per-event pricing model:
- Your first event is activated for €10.00
- Each additional event is activated for €3.00
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a payment you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All sales are final — we do not offer refunds once an event has been activated, unless required by applicable law.
Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable VAT. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time; changes will not affect events already activated.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service ("User Content"), including event names, itineraries, photos, and descriptions. By uploading User Content, you grant PlanTheFun a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to upload content that:
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
- Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or obscene
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms without notice.
6. Guest Access and Sharing
When you share an event link with guests, those guests can view your event itinerary without creating an account. You are responsible for controlling who you share event links with. PlanTheFun is not responsible for any unintended disclosure that results from you sharing a link with unauthorised parties.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or data-mine the Service without our written consent
- Transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PlanTheFun. Our name, logo, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written permission.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the Service is at your sole risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlanTheFun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which PlanTheFun is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
